Helen Townley was one of the original Founders of United Christian Church of Candler, FL, J.O. Townley Tabernacle alongside Rev. H. Richard Hall, Amelia Hall and Jake Townley.  She was a spiritual mother to all at UCC of Candler and she will be missed greatly!  Helen and her late  husband, Jake, their heart have witnessed.  Throughout the years God has been faithful to Jake and Helen of seeing that vision come to pass from the church, to the community and all around the world the gospel is being put out because of their labor of love. She always gave God the glory!  Helen was a praying, humble, loving and patient woman of God.  We will miss      her shout, "well, glory!"  But we know that she is with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
